It was a jazz session day in Naha. But unfortunate rainy weather was like a disaster therefore not much musicians joined. It didn’t matter. It was a fun time.
I played Billie’s Bounce, All of Me and My Romance. The trumpet guy seemed to be really experienced musician. I wonder if he played on base back in 60’s and 70’s. He lead us who would take solo and what the band would do next.
The final time we played was Blue Bossa. I was not good at that song but the trumpet guy pulled me to join so I did. I didn’t play well but the great musician helped me having fun with it.
I really enjoyed and got to know I should practice more.
It will be June 8 next time. I’m definitely go again.
