I am a newbie in the world of wood working. I do some for piano repair, but this violin making process involves much more than I have ever done. Since cutting wood is non undoable action, I need to practice before working with actual tonewood, because they can’t be purchased at a local shops. And they are the price not easily to replace.
I watched may YouTube videos demonstrate handsaw. Even those professionals are not perfect. It looked like drawing a straight ling without ruler.
I think I get some tips as I repeat, though the first result was horrible. It’s getting closer to perpendicular. I will make some demo blocks to practice them.
