I’ve been away from the violin making for a while. Now I’m happy I’m back!
A luthier in Tokyo advised me to go ahead with the real tonewood instead of practicing with the similar wood from the home center. So I’m doing it this time.
I’m also practicing the orchestra music. It takes time since the music is very difficult for me at this point. Therefore the time I can spend for the violin making is limited. I will not give up either of playing and making. Violin making is actually what I want to do more, but I’m sure I won’t be able to make a good instrument without being able to play it. So I’m doing both.
